It’s BLOGLESS THURSDAY again!
For the last several weeks, I’ve been asking readers to suggest Excuses Not To Blog. I’ve also begun to draw inspiration from everyday, ordinary smilies. Yes, smilies! They harbor all sorts of Excuses Not To Blog. Who knew, huh?
I’m hoping that readers will come to view Blogless Thursday as an essential service in the blogosphere. If ever there comes a day that you don’t want to blog and need a good excuse, search no more! Just surf on over here and peruse our growing list of Excuses Not To Blog.

*Someone* in this house (who shall remain nameless)decided to create her own concoction of pretend vomit. Possible ingredients were oatmeal, saltines, and strawberry jam. Working as a team to clean up the mad scientist’s mess takes away any opportunity to blog. 
The Wisdom of the Smilies
This week, the smilies are back again to offer these fine Excuses Not To Blog:
This means, “Can’t you see I’m having an interpersonal drama? And you want me to BLOG? What’s wrong with you?”
This one translates to, “I had a little too much fun last night, and I forgot to blog!”
And finally, we have this gem –
I think the message here is, “Oh dear, my hair seems to be aflame; not a good time to blog, I’m afraid. Has anyone got a fire extinguisher handy? No? Um, perhaps a glass of water, then…”

Hi there,
I was just stopping by to say thanks for commenting on my Ruby Tuesday blog! It was my first time doing Ruby Tuesday and I was surprised at how many comments I got.
Yeah, red eyeshadow is extreme, but if applied right it actually looks pretty cool. I think it requires quite a bit of black mascara and eyeliner to counteract the red a little bit!
