Can you imagine in the day, wearing the standard issue heavy wool uniforms in the sub-tropical weather? Uniform to all sides, blue, gray and RED…even sheep receive the shears in the summer, but not the soldiers.
Unless these uniforms look retro but are made of a modern cotton blend…
I don’t know what they are made of, but they can’t be any worse than the “head characters” costumes – dang, those things probably could use some air conditioning!

PS – pic is showing fine for me, but then again I have had problems at a number of Blogger blogs today, seeing the photos.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. Oh, how we loved Disneyland and the shows they put on when we lived in CA. Disneyworld can only be even more awesome!
In regards to your question about knowing which berries are safe to eat, there’s lots of books you can check them out in first, but I swear the subject must be a prerequisite for living in the Pacific Northwest, because it’s a popular topic around here. Even most of the kids know which ones are safe!
Great pic!! Colours are amazing. Perfect for Ruby Tuesday! Thanks for recommending it to me. More photofun and games!

It wasn’t showing up here for me either, Tink. Weird, huh?
I took a different route to view it, and I am so happy that I did. Wow-the red just pops out at you!
I think it would be a perfect addition to the ‘red, white, and blue’ thread at the Lodge. Just sayin’…
