Here’s what is left of the dirty Long Island snow. Getting in the rent-a-car now, which smells vaguely of sardines, to go a-wassailing – er, um, I mean visiting with friends.
That looks like spring to me — my world is still snow covered, my driveway is still covered with ice and there are piles of snow everywhere I look. ‘Hope your holidays are fabulous!
The “benefits” of being surrounded by water – temps sometimes hover just ABOVE where they should be for snow to happen. So what we get instead is cold, wind-whipped rain.
Get back soon,we all miss you & your blogs from Florida

Please leave it there and don’t bring it back to Florida

Ok, is a-wassailing kind of like a crawl only New Yawk style???

At least that snow isn’t yellow!

We got 4-6 inches the other day. It was snowing faster than I could shovel! Took the day off today, of course, so lots of shovelling tomorrow!

I still cannot figure out why you have to shovel so much, since you have access to so many teenaged boys. You deserve a break!
