Yes, I know I published photos of the fountain show last Wednesday, too. But I’m not done checking it out! See, this was the first time I took my fairly new 9 megapixel, 10x optical zoom digital camera
to Disney, and it’s like “a whole new world” of detail has opened up for me.
Here’s a shot I took of the fountain show in action but from the other perspective as compared to last week’s photos. The geosphere, also known as Spaceship Earth or “that big golf ball” is in the photo as well. Now we’re going to blow up just a small section of the photo –

I think what I like best about this is that there’s all kinds of texture going on – the nubby surface of the geosphere, the puffiness of the clouds, and the droplets of water from the fountain spraying wide like a fractured crystal… go ahead and click on the photo. When you get to Flickr, scroll down on the right and there should be an option to view different sizes. Try “large” to see all the textures.

Tink, no need to aplogize! Those are amazing photos. You’re right, the texture is just amazing on those shots, particularly of the Geosphere. I’m enjoying them all.

There’s definitely a lot going on in that photo. I like the fountains in the foreground. I’ve always liked that big golf ball shaped building when I’ve seen it in photos. You only have to look at it to know where it is.

I have to agree you have an amazing sky to compliment the water show and the EPCOT building in the background makes it perfect.
