It was a tour boat from Tarpon Bay Explorers on Sanibel Island, Florida. The boat stopped near a clump of mangroves so we could observe the egret. It was the first time I've seen a reddish - I dunno, they must be shy or maybe I've just never been in the right place at the right time. Anyhow, I did have to wait some for her to come out of the shadows of the mangrove, but the boat captain was kinds and in no hurry ;) Hey there BK – I didn’t camp, really.
