Great photo. I love that area of EPCOT, and I always enjoyed the "ride". It was a great way to get out of the heat and off your feet for a bit! I was at the 1964 World's Fair. I remember the COP very well, and the person trying to break into our hotel room, and the hotel swimming pool! My RT

We went to the NY Worlds Fair. We joke about we went without our daughter and came home with her–if you get the drift. When we moved this summer, I was going through old pictures and found some from the fair. I remember the Carousel of Progress from the fair and was so surprised to see it at WDW the first time we went there. I also love Ellen’s ride. Even though I’ve been on it several times, I enjoy the story and the smells!!

Nice red strip of flowers. My parents tell me I actually went to the Flushing Worlds Fair but was a little too young to remember.

Although I did not make the 1964-65 fair in Flushing Meadows, I like animatronic things, and many years ago we saw these at WDW. I would give a lot for the beautiful landscaping down there, but all agree that Disney has always sweated the details on the grounds. Bill Nye was a constant when ours were little…
