The signifier of a good shelling day is "mac and cheese", originally uploaded by Tink*~*~*.

Even if you only find ONE good shell, as long as that shell is a mac and cheese, it was a good shelling day. Such was today – my fave came along for me to capture.

    For shelling, it’s the alphabet cone; in life, it takes much less: a childish voice calling ‘grandma,’ a cardinal in my back yard, a streak of pink in the sunset . . . they’re all good days.
