Apple strudel from EPCOT’s Germany, originally uploaded by Erin *~*~*. It’s got Werther’s caramel sauce on it – i’d be even happier with a more generous squirt of the sauce but it’s pretty good.
Big winner: the mahi mahi from EPCOT’s Brazil kiosk, originally uploaded by Erin *~*~*. This is truly delicious ! And it goes well with the mojito from the Caribbean kiosk
Listing "meh" thumb for the Caribbean beef at EPCOT, originally uploaded by Erin *~*~*. The coconut mojito is interesting but I didn’t see any straws. I expected the beef to be spicy – it’s good, but barely spiced. Not what I thought Caribbean beef should be.
Still one of my favorite sights at EPCOT, originally uploaded by Erin *~*~*. I still need to compose my thoughts about "flow" and the part that the torii gate plays in getting there. Fodder for a new blog (stay tuned…)
Disney picks the best times to refurbish (not), originally uploaded by Erin *~*~*. Why does Disney choose festval time to refurb? So far, I am halfway around World Showcase and two countries (Japan and Cananda) are enshrined in walls of Walt quotations. Who makes these decisions, anyway?
I leaf Canada… I LEAF Canada???, originally uploaded by Erin *~*~*. I walked away scratching my head over this one… EPCOT’s Canada pavilion is under rehab, so I am unable to check on the status of the "mystery shoes". Perhaps they will make their triumphant return in December? One can hope!
My "passport to a world of flavors", originally uploaded by Erin *~*~*. Loaded and ready to party! This wrist-carried gift card is SO much better than dragging out the wallet every time you want to eat or drink- which is, after all, why we are here, right?
The verdict: Kalua Pork Slider and Seven Tiki Mai Tai, originally uploaded by Erin *~*~*. Half a thumb, all credit going to the mai tai. The slider is too much bread, not enough pork. But hey, this is Disney – no one said there was value involved LOL
